    Well, perhaps it's my years in the desert and having been called to get a LOT of Sidewinders out of folks home. But I can't imagine leaving a direct opening to the outside. I mean come on, screen doors have been around for years!

      Don, you gots to know the Evergladers....They is in tuned with nature, believe me! I have a friend that lives in a log cabin there. It's like a whole new world when we go there. Gators, otters. snakes galore. you name it (No, no Polar Bears) It's absolutely beautiful. We that live in cities sometimes forget what it's like to live in a place where there have been few people tread.
      I love it down there but it do get hot! And my friends, they don't like a lot of people around them so they bought lots of land. You have to stop at a gate to tell them you are coming. I pity a stranger that just walked up to thier door! They would be looking down the barrel of a gun, believe me, becuse the area is so remote.
