      The "accidental discharge" of a firearm, sans a mechanical defect, is nothing more then an excuse.

      If you have no one but yourself to hold accountable, your next course of action is to blame the weapon. I agree...the media is just as stupid as the shooter for perpetuating the accidental discharge myth.
