This is from a local paper:
An officer stopped the vehicle just before 4 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of First Street and Park Avenue because the driver didn’t have the headlights turned on.
As the officer walked up to the car, he heard the man calling for help from inside the trunk.
The victim told officers the five stole his cash and an ATM card and then forced him to jump into the Caloosahatchee River to make him give up his PIN.
After the man gave them the number, he said they put him in the trunk, for the trip to the bank.
Three people were arrested in the car. Two others were picked up as they walked up to the intersection where police made the stop.
Arrested were:
Ivan Bell, 23, on kidnapping, armed robbery, carjacking with a firearm and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony
Jeremy Bennett, 19, on kidnapping and armed robbery charges
Jeremy Burns, 20, on kidnapping and armed robbery charges
Kelli Yost, 18, on kidnapping and armed robbery charges
Pamela Woodbridge, 18, on kidnapping and armed robbery charges
