  • LPD Arrest A Police Property Room Clerk

Sheesh...can the Louisville Police Dept. ever get a break????

(LOUISVILLE Sunday September 8th, 2002 6:45PM) -- Louisville Police have put one of their own employees behind bars. One of the department's property room clerk's has been jailed after she allegedly used inside information to protect her wanted boyfriend.

23 year old Chasity Reynolds is accused of telling her boyfriend, who was wanted by police for sexual assault, to paint his car after she learned detectives had a description of it.

Police say they went to Reynolds apartment and asked if her boyfriend was there. She allegedly said no and refused to open the door.

Eventually officers found her boyfriend hiding in the bedroom.

Reynolds faces charges of hindering prosecution and misuse of confidential information.

It's not just your department. Two weeks ago we arrested our city's credit union manager for making & distributing fake insurance cards using her city computer.

Geesh Piper your city can not get a break. First a police officer and now this. The good thing about all of this is there are going to be openings in the local PD to get you hired as a LPD officer. Soo keep some faith and know that sometimes bad things happen to bad people so that the good people can get the jobs of thier dreams.

We've fired dispatchers for telling their hook boyfriends that they were fixing to be raided.
