Sheesh...can the Louisville Police Dept. ever get a break????
(LOUISVILLE Sunday September 8th, 2002 6:45PM) -- Louisville Police have put one of their own employees behind bars. One of the department's property room clerk's has been jailed after she allegedly used inside information to protect her wanted boyfriend.
23 year old Chasity Reynolds is accused of telling her boyfriend, who was wanted by police for sexual assault, to paint his car after she learned detectives had a description of it.
Police say they went to Reynolds apartment and asked if her boyfriend was there. She allegedly said no and refused to open the door.
Eventually officers found her boyfriend hiding in the bedroom.
Reynolds faces charges of hindering prosecution and misuse of confidential information.
