  • Worst typo error?

I once made the WORST typo error. I was talking online to a friend who was helping me with a computer problem.....See dicussion below...
Brad:Ok, are you ready to try and fix the file problem?
Mitzi: No...YES OF COURSE I AM lol
Brad:OK, do you have a disc?
    Mitzi: Yes, I have a d***<-----typo error.....use your imagination
Mitzi: OMG, I can't believe what I just typed!
    (pause)
    Mitzi: Brad, are you there?
    Mitz: BRAD? Are you there
    Brad: Hold on
Mitzi waits and waits then friend types:
    Brad: Sorry, I ...can't...stop.....laughing!

LOL! Was a long time before I lived that one down! LOL!

I turned in a report where I meant to write the word "coming" and instead I wrote "c*mming".

I took some ribbing over it for a while.

I was relieving a dispatcher so he could 10-100. Noticed he had a log entry on "Mt. Sh*tney" Dr. in Lone Pine.

When he came back, suggested he change it to "Mt. Whitney."

        ------------------
I used to have an open mind - but my brains kept falling out.

On our MDC's in our squad cars we have a big chat room where the officers can talk to each other and to the dispatchers. Everyone is logged on under their names, not their positions, so no one knows who the dispatchers are.

So one time, someone typed "Who on PD1?" But on our great computers, the first letter sometimes gets cut off, and it read "ho on PD1"

            Lol

I remember mine perfectly. i was fresh out of college and still innocent. i was working as a "word processing" clerk for a drug company, and handed in a report to my young, cute boss. on one page, instead of "rounding off" (as in numbers), i typed "pounding off." he was SO red when i walked in his office after his call, and thank god he laughed so hard over it. i was so embarassed i could have died.

                      Tim,

Hope you will understand that with some of us it is quite possible to post something you have posted before. It is called "getting old." Now while I myself do NOT suffer from this, I'm sure that Mitzi and perhaps a few others just may.

Be nice to your elders, son. With any luck at all you may get here too some day!

My worst ever, which I will NEVER forget. Many moons ago back in high school I had to give an oral report about something, can't remember exactly what, I think it was something about the school. Anyway, I had typed "pubic area" instead of "public area" and read it just the way it was printed.

And of course, I was the LAST person to figure out what I said.
