#Officer chat room

I wanted to clarify a few issues regarding the Officer.com chat room.

Officer.com is for folks of all ages. We have explorers visiting this site who are teenagers as well as other kids who want to be police officers or work in a related area.

The chat room has generally the same rules as the forum does. In addition, please note that the chat room is not to be used as a place to "cyber" or as a pseudo-dating, pickup place. There are more than enough places to do both at but Officer.com is not the place to do so. If you want to do something of that nature with someone you met in the chat room, feel free to use the private message feature.

Guess I'll add my two cents here. Just to clarify a little on my status, I am NOT a moderator in the chat room. In fact, I don't go there at all, as I just don't have the time.

From time to time I have received some email reference to the chat room. I have no idea as to what is going on in there, and I am really NOT the one to contact with it.

Could someone please email me regarding how to use the Chatroom, being on Webtv. It doesnt work for me. I can chat in Cajnet and TalkCity fine. thanks!

Webtv, since its not a computer, cannot load java applets or use anything java based. Therefor the chatroom is inaccessable for anyone using webtv.

As for the room, Thankyou Raychel for the post. Its not a rampant problem, but there have been times when I've recieved complaints.
