Paper runs a sweet article on my PD

Somehow the local paper got copies of all our internal affairs files and disciplinary actions over the last six years. With most, but for some reason not all, names extracted they then ran a story summarizing the offenses and the disciplines. Needless to say the admin is royally ****ed and ducking for cover as some of the discplines were obviously either very light (*** kissers) or very heavy (malcontents) for the offense. Sorry no link but my local paper charges a subscription fee to read their articles.

And so even though I got named for one of my offenses, a fairly minor thing, I'm estactic because it shows the public the truth about what we have been complaining about for a long time. Its not what you do or who you do it to that matters, its who you are that determines your discipline.

This is true everywhere but since I’ve seen so many posts that mention it I’m now wondering if it is even more true in LE.
