  • Meet.... Grayson (45k images)

A stray cat wandered in my parents garage and had kittens. My whole family fell in love with this grey one. My mom wanted to name it Gracie Gray but its male sooo.. I compromised and named him Grayson.

    Isn't he adorable?

He's the cutest Boa Constrictor meal I've ever seen.

He's cute now, but he'll grow up to be arrogant and aloof, just like all cats!

Arrogant and aloof just like all cats? Cats are what you make them. Just like anything else. If you ignore it, hurt it, scare it...the cat will not forget. I wouldn't forget either if someone did that to me. That makes the cat/person INFORMED and CAUTIOUS as to its/their well being. Dogs are suckers and are too forgiving for their own good. That makes Cats=smart, dogs=dumb. A cat won't fall for the same joke twice.

In all fairness to cats...I have 3 of them and I also have 2 dogs. Let me just say that I used to hate cats. For what reason? I don't know. I used to joke about running them over with vaccum cleaners (I didn't do it! It was like the thing to say if you didn't like cats). THEN...my in laws bought me a cat 10 years ago. If anything would ever happen to that cat I think I'd about die. Crickett is my little side-kick and I swear she's nearly human!. She loves me and only me because the rest of my family hasn't earned her respect.(she's started trusting my 8 year old again, after years of pulling her tail and scaring her) Cats don't just love everybody, and you really have to earn their trust. They know if you're faking or not. Dogs on the other hand (don't get me wrong, I love my dogs), will jump up and lick anyone with a beating heart. (kind of like a man who is desperate for sex and uses extreme measures to get it). Having a cat love you, means that you've earned it and chances are that cat won't love anyone else the same way. I am her mother, period.

That's why some people are cat people and some people are dog people. Cats are finiky and so are some people. They go good together. I am a picky person and I admit it. If a dog jumps on me, I yell, "GET OFF!". If my cat jumps on me, I absolutely love the purring and comfort of my cat. Cats don't slober and their coat never smells. I've never given my cat a bath. My basset hound can't go more than 4 days without a bath.

If I leave for more than 2 days, my cat drools when I return. She hugs my neck with her paws, sleeps on my head...and I love every minute of it.

He's adorable. We recently got a kitten, his name is Spot. Yes, Spot. That is what happens when my 8 year old daughter names a cat.

a cat almost caused me to have an accident once. i was driving along this country road when i see this cat near the edge of the road. so i instinctively swerve to eliminate it and i ran into the ditch and luckily slid back onto the road. it was a most unfortunate incident.

                ps....i'm only kidding.

Well, I can see right now from the pictures that Grayson is going to rule the roost. [Wink]

My cat and my dog tell ME what to do, when to do it.
But, I'm a sucker for them. Thank heavens I don't have a man here too, I'd never get any sleep.

HHHHmmmmmm, after reading your posts you cat lovers have got me feeling bad...
Oh no wait, that was just indigestion.

Better than dogs?! You gotta be bleepin' me! You say cats are smart, if I want live with a smart animal, I'll get a friggin' dolphin.

A blind, 3 legged dog is still more loyal and exciting than any cat. [Wink]

Even the friendliest cat looks at it's owner like they owe it $50 bucks.

BTW, anyone rent the movie Cats vs. Dogs? It's pretty funny. I won't give it away. Suffice to say the good "guys" win in the end.

                        Brick,

You couldn't last ten minutes alone with my cats. You'd be on the floor playing with them and cooing "here kitty-kitty" as they rubbed against you.

                            Cats.. the other white meat.

Q1: Can you train a cat to use and flush the toilet? or is that a myth?

Q2: Are there such things as 'attack' cats for home defense? (serious question)

                              Raychel,

                              He's adorable!!!

To all you cat haters...BITE ME!

I love my kitties. I love dogs too; I even have one in fact (cocker spaniel), but Ronald and Chuckie are two males in my life who bring me a tremendous amount of joy. I couldn't ask for better cats and I wouldn't trade them for any dog any day.
