They're all wearing those little polka dotted 'poodle skirts'. [Wink]

We had a couple years of those. We used to call them LadyBugs on Crack because they were meaner then the normal LadyBugs. Welll...we also called them PMS LadyBugs!

yea, thats what i thought until this summer up at the cabin. woke up around 9am to [what i thought were] the sound of raindrops hitting the winodws. i thought it was odd since it was such a nice day the day before, so i get up to investigate. all SIX windows were COVERED with THOUSANDS of ladybugs. the "raindrops" i heard were the ladybugs flying into the glass over and over again trying to get out. i fired up the vacuum and sucked those bastids up post haste.

So far, all I've read here is insulting towards lady bugs [Eek!]

But every year, I release some 100 to 200 of those cuties into my Bonsai trees, and they then feast on the tiny sapsuckers that would destroy the Bonsai trees. Afterwards, they fly away on other missions in my neighbors plants and flowers.

Ladybugs are fantastic creatures. i live with tons of them (indoors) every time there's a warm spell after some cool weather (like today).

The first Spring after i moved to the country, they hatched indoors and i went to the feed store right away for bug spray. i told the lady what i wanted it for, and she scolded me! she said how good ladybugs are for the environment, and natural pest-killers. i have since learned more about them.

after hatching (today), they crowd together up in the corners of the ceiling, and eventually disappear. i dont know if they live, but i do know i give them the chance!

They probably have 'out of body' experiences and get lost.....
