  • Texas Peace Officer Ring

I am looking for a Texas Peace Officer Ring that I have only seen a couple of times. I does not resemble a class ring althought it is very ornate. The top is flat with some writing and with wrighting on each side of the ring. I have been told they used to advertised in "The Blues" news paper out of Houston. If anyone can lead me to this ring I would be very grateful.

    Thanks
    Tony

I've been looking for a ring also. I want one that is generic but a Texas peace officer.

You might try The Blues advertisement section.
        http://www.thebluesnews.com/

Or their ads section. Houghton's Jewelers usually can find anything you want.

Mine is very similar to a college class ring and was made by "Jostens" jewelers. (Mine is over twenty years old)

I 've been looking for several days, but can't find a mention of the Law Enforcement rings anywhere on there website. (they think it un-PC to advertise them)

You might try contacting them, or maybe Galls or one the police suppliers would carry them.

If all else fails, and you can find a photo of what you want, you might visit a local jeweler and see if they can make it.

Just remembered that a lot of jewelers carry a catalog of "waxes" that they can use to cast rings and such. They may have something useful.

            Good luck.
