This story was published in today's newspaper here. It's actually suprising that given the reputation the Herald-Leader has, this story didn't give a slanted view of things.

Not that I don't have compassion for the suicidal person but when a cop or others get hurt (or killed) at the expense of someone trying to kill themselves using this method, its deplorable!
