  • "Police Shoot Innocent Victim 5 Times After Chasing Him Down"

The full headline is "San Francisco Police Shoot Innocent Victim 5 Times After Chasing Him Down For Not Paying Bus Fare!"

This vid will be the next mega "cops are evil" vid getting passed around. As the details are not in, and you can't get any info from the vid, why are the headlines "San Francisco Police Shoot Innocent Victim 5 Times After Chasing Him Down For Not Paying Bus Fare!"

And his being Innocent was decided how? Supposedly, shots were fired by this person at police:

The headline lets you know who they think was in the wrong, no benefit of the doubt to LE.

Two, that crowed is telling of how stupid and dangerous people are today. That crowed bothered me more then anything about the story so far.

    Anyone have additional details?

    Short version:

FYI, there are lonjger versions of this vid with more info/details to see, but what I found was in various gangsta/rap BS sites and didn't want to link that junk here.

Are you talking about the po-leece or the others?

Well firstly, wouldn't a jury or court determine whether the person shot was "an innocent victim" and not a group of unproductive bystanders? Do those in the video have anything better to do with themselves? There is no way that the those people are all family/friends of the party shot. Finally, why is the black community not outraged at the black on black violence which is at such astronomical levels? I mean real outrage, not just a protest after a innocent child gets killed in a drive-by. In Hartford, people speak about police brutality, then turn around and say how they would "peel this niggaz cap'. It is very distressing. The friends I have that are African American agree with my opinion as well. I grew up in a "bad neighborhood" with Latin Kings and Los Solidos. It is no excuse for ignorance.

People are always jumping on the police immediately. Why is this? These people are in fact animals. They have no background knowledge of what occured here. If it was a police officer who was shot dead, nobody would have anything to say. That's the sad truth. Maybe if these people spent their time doing some constructive things with their lives, they wouldn't be laying dead in the middle of a town square.

What bothers me the most is that these people are so ready and willing to flip out their cell phones and film a dead / dying person on the street...

It's sickening as hell. Regardless of what the guy did or how he got the way he did, but you see it everywhere. Accident scenes. Disasters. Things like this. People are always so ready and willing to film someone else's final moments of life...why?

The internet has desensitized people completely, and even when this happens in real life, they are immune to it. It's disgusting that somebody can see something like this and not even cringe, but that's the world we live in. You are right though, if they're so up in arms about him being shot, aren't they just as bad for filming a man bleeding to death?

I don't know about the other posters, but I am certainly tired of these videos being posted on this site. It's widely known that we're second guessed on scene while crowds get rowdy, loud and feed off of each others energy.

Both are you are 100% right. The youtube-era has desensitized many into believing they will gain internet notoriety. I have a new blackberry the only two pictures I have is me and my brother after he got back from Afghanistan and me and my girlfriend at a expensive restaurant in NYC. I think it is wrong to film other people with your phone. But, I guess I am a hypocrite to some degree, seeing as I watch some of the videos posted.

The term used is "Morbid Curiosity" and it is a basic mammalian curiosity. With the advent of cell phones, it is thought to be more prevalent, but that is not the case. It has always been and will always be. That is why cops use the term "Rubber Neckers" for traffic passing a gruesome accident or incident scene. If everyone who responded to a morbid scene was there to help, issues could be cleared in moments and more suspect could possibly be captured and prosecuted.

                            marty,

Doesn't matter. Guy was murdered by the cops. That's all there is to that story. This is what happens when you listen to the minority and allow them to get away with any and all antics and protect them as a class.
