Kind of reminds me of a 3 Stooges skit, where Shemp swallowed a diamond hidden in a bowl of mints, and the crook who stole it was bound he was going to cut him open and get it back.

When one of my daughters was small she swallowed the winding key from a musical giraffe. Never did understand how she got it down without choking.
The doctor said to give her lots of starchy food and let nature take its course. It worked.
