  • Cool Candidate names

Watching election coverage, I saw some fun candidate names.

Locally, our Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs just got a lot tougher. We elected Charles Bronson as the new Secretary of ACS.

Any fun name in your local elections?

A guy named Kent Clark won the Judge-Executive race in Madison County. All of his billboards featured a Superman motif.

For US Representative...and I think he ended up getting over 20% of the vote.

Former Baltimore County Executive "Dutch Ruppersberger" won election to the House of Representatives. He sounds like a burger at Bateman's Bistro.

Actually, I think there is a "Rupperberger" burger at Bateman's ...

In New Hampshire there was a guy last year name Dick Swett. Yeah I did laugh every time I saw it.
Our new Governor-elect first name is Mitt. What kind of name is that?!

I saw in the paper today some guy (a candidate for governor, I think) named Posthumous won his race. I'd hate to be presented any award by that guy.
Caution and worry never accomplished anything.

We had Cox and Peters running against each other here.
