That's something I like about Vegas; our roads are big. Casino and the airport parking garages are just about the only places with low clearance that you could ever have to worry about.

We are half way across the country but we deal with the same identical problems. I have handled several like that.

In the video you can actually see that what they hit is a steel I-beam guard put in place so people hit that and not the bridge.

You would think that after the first few incidents of this happening the owners of these companies with these trucks would tell there drivers to avoid that bridge.

Oh well. Always bet on stupid I guess.
This show is awesome, wrapped in supercool and smothered in bitchin. The only way it could be cooler is if he was riding a unicorn or something.

I'd hate to own a rental truck company in that area rofl
Been chatting to a girl online. She's funny, sexy and flirty. Now she tells me she is an undercover cop! How cool is that at her age!?

Oh, I dunno; maybe with a "you break it, you buy it" clause in the rental agreement, you could be the #1 used truck dealer in the area.

I kinda wanted to find out if the AC unit on that bus would have fit, if he hadn't stopped because the truck ahead of him (around 1:54) got peeled.

Looked like some of those guys might have made it if a train hadn't been pushing the bridge down onto them.

Go look at the railroad bridge on Tropicana west of the Strip. Note those beams in front of it? They're to keep trucks from damaging the bridge itself.

Ha! I used to work as a driver helper for big rig truckers... one day were rolling through Boston and the sign says 10'8" and hes not slowing down, I warn him, he doesn't flinch... warn him again, he just speeds up.

We go right under the bridge, plenty of room to spare. Turns out the rich members of the neighborhood on the other side of the bridge convinced city council that the bridge was 10'8" not almost 15', which it actually is.

I have to deal with a LOT of truck drivers now. The above pictures and videos do not surprise me at all. While SOME are the nicest, intelligent, very hard working and most humorous folks you could ever meet... the rest it appears, in at least my experience, are the dumbest SOBS I've ever met. I've seen crack heads with more intelligence then some of them and cleaner too! Professional drivers my @ss! Quite a few even smell like shet literally... not a fart but shet ... enough to make you gag! They remind me of a guy we dealt with (when I was a LEO) that shet himself, his room, bed and slept in it a few days.
I can give them instruction, point to sections on the paper they need to fill out, point where and how to park their trailers and some will still ***** it up! It's got to the point I'm ready to try crayons and drawing pictures for them. I've told them on the weekends, nobody is working inside, I got all your paperwork they will need, ... DO NOT GO INTO THE BUILDING FOR ANY REASON! A few minutes later an alarm is going off because the dumb @sses tried to go inside. When asked why... "I wanted to turn in my paperwork." DUMB @SSes!
OH... some of them can't read the *****ing STOP signs... you think they'll be able to comprehend the low clearance signs? Apparently not!

Sorry for the rant I got to find another job.
