I'm going to wet my pants

She was within a mile of her Fredericksburg, Va., house when Victoria Bors felt an urgent call of nature. She was preoccupied with getting home quickly, and it took a minute for her to notice the cop's lights flashing in her rearview mirror.

"By the time the officer peered into my window, I was desperately trying to keep from squirming in my seat," she recalls. That's when Bors' 14-year-old daughter called out from the back, "She has to go to the bathroom!"

"My 7-year-old echoed, 'She really has to go to the bathroom!'" When the officer asked if the story was true, a red-faced Bors answered sheepishly, "Yes."

"I told him we were just two subdivisions away while lightly bouncing in my seat. Stepping away from the car and chuckling, he waved me on and told me to 'be careful,'" she says

too funny happened to my wife once same scenario/outcome lol

she made it in a knick of time

The restroom excuse is very popular around here. I will escort them to the station, and while they are "using it", I'm sitting in my office writing the citation. Clowns are an automatic citation. I, too, hate clowns.

Start crying and that's an automatic cite no matter the excuse. Let her use the "tears" on the Judge.

Go to a funeral? Dress as a clown? Are the serious?

So they think lying to a cop will make things go better for you? That's funny.

"I'm not the only guilty party"

Them: Why aren't you out catching everyone else in the world who's speeding?

        Me: You fish?

        Them: Yes, why?

Me: Ever catch every fish in the lake?

Just be cool. Pull over correctly. Have you stuff together. Keep your hands on the steering wheel. If it's at night, turn on your interior lights and roll down your windows (if they're tinted). Don't smart off or make excuses. Make sure to have your radio and don't mess with your phone.

That's what I do and I think it makes a difference. I feel it relaxes the officer (a little) and gives you the best chance of not receiving a ticket. Just strictly my experience from being pulled over numerous times

I too have extremely tinted windows on the back so I always slow down as soon as the lights come on and try my best to pull over in a parking lot so we are out of the street. Bring the windows down and be extremely courteous. The more yes sir no sir's the better. In total I have been pulled about a dozen times and never got a citation. The most surprising was when I was traveling and purposely stayed behind a NJ trooper so I didn't speed past him. Well conversation got good and without thinking about it I just merged to the left and passed him like he was an old lady in the right lane, but even then no citation lol.

Trust me there could have been many reasons why the Trooper was driving slow. If your not exceeding the speed limit and left lane is open pass him/her... your definitely doing them a favor by passing.
