You've stated the only viable solution to the problems of drugs being brought into this country. Identify, confirm and then shoot down or sink every drug carrying plane or ship without exception or apology.

We are spinning our wheels trying to stop drugs from coming into the county. It is a political thing. Now the poppy is going to be the major crop AGAIN in Afghanistan. Production is going up 100%. That was just in today's paper.

The countries that produce drugs are not going to stop, period. Their government officials will only pay lip service to our government, while raking in millions in bribes from the drug lords. Until we see it as a war against our country and start sinking ships and blasting planes out of the sky that WE KNOW are smuggling drugs, will these smugglers know we are serious.

My friend retired from the Coast Guard. He said that many times they watched boats and planes that they knew were loaded with drugs dance around waiting to make a run for the coast. They would chase and intercept a great many, but many more made it through.
Some times they caught a decoy while the loaded boat escaped.

If these planes and ships were attacking us, our strategy would be a lot different. They only give the Customs and Coast Guard enough money to fund a good looking facade.

In 1985 DEA special agent E. Camarena was tortured and murdered in Mexico.
Apparently, the order for his death and torture originated from the "highest level".
The drug network he threatened to expose led back to Toronto, Canada, and the key money launderer in the operation, according to one authority, was a well-known (and now internationally established) currency exchange house, who washed $100, 000, 000.00 of that drug money.
Who actualy gave the order for his death?
Who had the most to lose by his discoveries?
