the only problem i have with it are the people working the machine. you hear a lot of bad about the TSA and they show poor responsibility in most cases. i wouldn't want a dude standing there getting pleasure out of seeing someone naked especially if it was a family member, or girlfriend/wife (if i had one). and i think it draws the line when it comes to a child.

couldn't they make something like an xray machine instead of something that shows actual body parts? its definately not something all TSA staff should be allowed to see
Been chatting to a girl online. She's funny, sexy and flirty. Now she tells me she is an undercover cop! How cool is that at her age!?

I remember reading about how some schools in the 50s took nude photos of students to detect scoliosis. Predictably, the photos of the teenage girls ended up getting out and being sold to the public. It was members of the medical and educational professions who allowed that to happen. And I'm supposed to trust TSA, who don't even have very stringent hiring standards?

Last night on the news they were reporting complaints that agents are inserting their hands into the pants of elderly and disabled people, right down to the public bone. It's not okay to target any particular racial group, but it's okay to automatically grope the handicapped and elderly?

TRUST me when I say that the majority of the people I see going through the TSA checkpoint at our airport every day, I don't WANT to see nekkid, and surely wouldn't want to "grope" 'em.

(Of course, there are a few I see that I'd LOVE to . . . . . ummmmm, never mind.)

Maybe when I retire from LE, I'll apply to be a TSA "groping specialist".

Number of people killed in thr last 8 Days via DUI!

You darn sure don't let cops even ask for a breath test on a 22yr old with prior DUI records, drunk driver leaving a bar without numerous hoops to jump threw. Proper traffic stop, proper SFST, 20min wait,,,,,
Yet you want to rub down 97year old grandpaw trying to fly to his brothers funereal.
I answered this the last time you asked it. Stop describing a pat down/search as a sexual act... it is not. When an officer searches someone for their safety, they don't ask to "molest" the person, they ask to search them or pat them down... the same thing that is done at an airport. Quit adding connotation to the situation to exert your personal feelings on it.

I have a question about those first images posted. The genitals seem obscured. Is that becuase, knowing these images were for pubic release, the subject were given some sort of shielding underwear, or were the images manipulated in some way?

My wife flew this morning, hence my interest in the subject. She texted me from the gate, she got "selected" and her mom did not.

They asked her if she wanted to go through the body scanner. She said she did not. They just let her go. No pat down. This was through DIA this morning (Sunday 11/21).

You're confusing a frisk with a pat down or search.

2nd in most states if a male was to run his hand up the backside of a female he could be charged with some form of sexual assault.
No, in most states that is nothing more than assault/battery. Sexual assault usually requires some form of penetration.

3rd where is the "reasonable" standard the courts so often refer to? Refer to the countless case law on DUI where the courts rule so liberally in the rights of the drunk driver. Yet an 90yr old woman without any slight bit of probable cause or even a slight bit of profile stats will get a run down.
The safety of many is more important than the wants of the few.

If I understand correctly, the TSA pat downs are always performed by someone of your same gender.
