  • Going at it on duty

Just wanted to know how many of you have taken a "dinner break" to get freaky while on duty, either in the car or somewhere else. Last night I couldn't conrol myself and my guy still had four hours left on his shift. I called him up, told him to meet me in an old parking lot behind the building, got my needs met, then he went about his shift. Any other stories to add?

My PD has a story about a former SGT that met up with his girlfriend one night, hopped into the BACK of his patrol car....and amid their moaning, groaning and frenzied motions...somehow managed to have the door shut on them, locking them both in the back seat.

Never. Major safety issue, not only to you and your significant other, but to your teammates as well. We had a Deputy get fired for that several years back.

Imagine how embarassing that would have been if you had been caught. My ex-daughter-in-law thought it would be exciting to have sex "on the job" with the man she was cheating with on my son. Imagine her boss walking by while they were in the car. Can you say FIRED? Can you say DIVORCED?

I don't know how common it is but I did it one time with a cop in Kentucky when I was younger and wilder. (more wild than I am now? Imagine that!)

I think half the excitement of it was the possibility of getting caught, but I'm sure glad we didn't. Sex in the back seat of a cruiser is not worth losing a job over. It was fun though... [Wink]

shooter--that happened in a town right next to mine too... 'splain why you're locked in the cage, hmmm???

Not to mention all the NASTY people who are in the back of the cruiser. Hell, I hate even having to SIT back there when we've got to go to a funeral or search warrant or something, and that's when it's nice and clean and disinfected...

getting semi-nekkid back there? eeeewwwwwwww :x

Sounds like a very stupid thing to do to me. But what do I know.

I was watching a rerun of Third Watch on A&E last night. Davis' girlfriend was with him in the ER after a call, she grabbed him and pulled him into a room. Later, her partner noticed her turtle neck shirt was on inside out.

Seriously, though...as FLLawdog said. It is a MAJOR safety violation. IIRC, a couple of the FBI agents involved in the infamous 'Michael Platt/Miami FBI Shootout' were getting their rocks off instead of being available as backup for their partners.

Local stories abound about officers with their girlfriends in the car, on the car, whereever. Before I got here there was a story going around about the night chief doing a dispatcher on her desk & they got caught & fired.

Funny how that story about the two getting locked in the back of the patrol car seems to have happened everywhere. I've heard it about an agency near here.

I know someone that had the "back of the cruiser" thing happen....they probably would have gotten away with it, if they hadn't shown up on the next call with the wrong ties on...different departments, different colors.

OK, I think it would be really cool, but I agree with the safety issue. I'm here to do a job, and being available to back up my brothers is #1 in my book.

About three years ago, a Staff Sgt who was on nightshift and was the road boss for our entire city, for all the patrol and supervisor units, was getting a b.j. from a female (believed to be a prostitute) in his cruiser car, when he inadvertently hit a special feature in his cruiser which gave his unit an open mic and broadcast on all channels. Needless to say, the sounds associated with such an act were broadcast for all to hear. The Staff Sgt chose to retire ASAP, before he faced being fired.

You know, when I first saw Glock Girl's post, and then later Jules', I was beginning to think that being a LEO might actually be a lot of fun . Sadly, the rest of you have dispelled that notion for me.

                              I think it's very unprofessional.
