  • Our new Official language?

I think this is going a little to far. Where will it end? I can understand requiring Spanish interpreters and such, but Klingon? Soon we will have Warf and Chewbacca at the DMV to help any "interstellar" aliens with their driver's exam because they refuse to speak English.

OK, just where did these people learn to speak Klingon? To my knowledge, only certain actors on the Star Trek TV show and their trainers would even have access to the actual "language" and I'm sure there have not been any school classes in that subject (although, in California one can't be too sure about that).

It's actually a language course offered at several colleges. And no, not all of these colleges are in California. In addition, there are a plethora of books you can get if you wish to go the self-taught route...

Certainly it seems odd, but then, think about who these people are dealing with, are they not odd?

Concerning the difference between man and the jackass: some observers hold that there isn't any. But this wrongs the jackass.

Here's a link to Klingon language courses:
Klingon for Car Stops and Domestic calls.

You may need acrabat. Or just search for Klingon language. The net is full of this stuff

Mike can start reparing their trucks, if he could speak their language! Oh, wait! It's not English
