    God Save President Bush...

I'm now almost convinced that W will be around for another term.

W is the MAN!!!! I was attending a GOP meeting and we stopped to watch the speech. There was some serious cheering going on.

I'm proud to be an American!

The speech was brilliant. I don't agree with all of his policies, but there is no doubt this is the man to lead the greatest nation on Earth.

I thought his speech writer wrote a superb speech and Bush read it quite well. I have to disagree with using $15 billion dollars to help African AIDS victims. Sorry, but we have enough of our own domestic problems to be diverting that kind of money overseas. Why not spend that on UD drug addicts or our own AIDS victims? Recent events should teach the US to be a little more insular and stop playing "doctor/cop/bank manager" to the world". The only thing that upset me more was realizing that if it had of been a Democrat President giving the speech, the amount would have been 5 times higher.

I know what you are saying 9-11, but I think that doing this will help protect Americans in the long run. We need to get the problem under control.

"Who is volunteering to drive the first hydrogen powered patrol car though???"

That was the biggest shocker of the speech to me, given the fact that he was an oil man.

"I have to disagree with using $15 billion dollars to help African AIDS victims."

As much as I despise how some money is spent overseas, I find it tough to disagree with this expense.

I missed it. It has been a tough week. I had to work during the Super Bowl and the State of the Union.

i thought the speech was excellent. even though i am a Bush man i do not agree with EVERYTHING he does, as no one should.

$15 billion for AIDS in africa i do not agree with, sorry. why don't we take that money and secure our g-damn borders, especially the mexican border. (i wish the immigration issue would have been addressed).

i'm all for giving a little more time before acting in Iraq and hope we DON'T have to use troops but i won't be joining in in any anti-American anti-Bush protests if we do that's for damn sure. but a LITTLE time doesn't mean forever. so Hussein better **** or get off the pot!!!

i liked his addressing the partial birth abortion issue.

i liked his addressing dependence on foreign oil and utilizing our own damn resources for fuels.

and i liked the fact that they didn't show fat *** hitlary klinton rolling her eyes about anything.

the democratic reply was worth a good laugh though with that wienie from Washington state. "the democrats will do this and the democrats will do that!!!"

how 'bout you guys shut the f**k up and just work WITH the President and congress instead of AGAINST them to fix what's wrong here and leave the crying to your speeches when you address your sheeple ("constituents")!!

                    good speech!!
                    I'll post, You argue.

What the hell. I was on a Nuclear (NOT pronounced NUKE U LUR) Powered Aircraft Carrier for 5 years, why not a hydrogen powered police car. GIVE IT TO ME BABY!

$15M in Africa? Why not $5M in Africa and $10M in the US feeding the hungry and sheltering the homeless? I just hate to see that money going over seas but I guess it is for good reason. Maybe some type of hidden agenda.

Yeah, no doubt Oink, some of that $400 billion in Medicare spending, would go along way to fix all of the potholes on our pathetic roads and highways.

More spending when building the roads in the first place (Higher quality asphalt)would reduce the wear and tear.

There's some high-school girl out west somewhere that devised a new durable asphalt mixed with recycled plastic bottles, apperently the asphault will be more flexable and stand up to wear and tear much better. And it's enviro-friendly!
