Anybody ever do business with, or ever heard anything good or bad about www.selfdefence.com ?

Well, never heard of them before...

Took a look at their website, and did some digging around. Been on the web since at least 1996 (you can check the 'wayback machine' at archive.org and see), and they have an actual physical store.

On the other hand, their products seem to vary between overpriced and mediocre (the cheap chinese handcuffs they sell for $20, or a lot of their pepper sprays) to fairly decent equipment (Garrett metal detectors, for instance) at unexciting prices. This and the fact they offer a 15% affiliate program leads me to believe that you can probably get whatever it is you're looking for somewhere else, at a better price.
