How do you travel to work?

Car? Car-pool? Subway? Go-train? Walk? Bus? Other?

    Just wondering.....

Drive all alone with the music loud. Used to take the subway in but got tired of working before I even got to work.

My truck. When the weather is warm and dry, Gold Wing. I live six miles from the Office, but when on dayshift, the drive home takes up to 40 minutes. That is one reason why I will never again pick days.

I take my truck to work. It takes me about 45 minutes to get to work. Thank God for the radio.

I drive the Chevy S10 that my wife lovingly provides for me. It's great having a woman that is willing to support my policing habit.

In winter, it may take me 13 minutes to walk, dependent on the amount of snow. Most of the time, I have about a 10 minute walk.

            Talk about a pain-of-a-commute!

By car usually (sometimes I ride the M/C) for a 2 mile commute. I had a longer 2.1 mile commute when I lived on the west side of town. [Eek!]

I log on at 1600. I try to be in the shower by 1615 or so and then grab dinner. If I get a call, I walk out in the driveway and get in my patrol car and go.

It's a rough job, but somebody has to do it.

I work from home, so pretty much I just try to make it down the stairs without stepping on the cat.

I ride a commuter express bus from my home in North County, to downtown San Diego. My bus pass is subsidized by the court. Getting to downtown in the AM is a pain, traffic-wise, and parking is a nightmare. Space is at a premium and very expensive. The bus is okay, as most of the people who ride are employed downtown, so you don't have a lot of the homeless, druggies, and drunks that you encounter on the city buses.

Car, with music playing, cell phone, beverage. Sun roof open on nice days. Speedy, as fast as I can within reason and without getting caught. I try to keep in under 85, especially in the 50 mph zone. Of course there is usually some traffic and I can't cruise all the way to work at that speed.
Have you ever noticed? Anybody going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac.
