  • I did it!!!!!

I'm now officially a high school graduate!!! I just got back from the graduation ceremony. It only took about 2 hrs because we only have 290 graduating seniors. But this feels like a dream! It feels like I will still have to get up at 6:30 a.m. on Monday and go to school and try to remember my locker combination. But not any more!

Okay, I'll calm down now. Sorry if I seem giddy, but this is truly a great day. Not to mention that I am also 18 today. Double celebration!

                    It's nowhere near you, 207!

Unfortunetly, I won't have much of a summer vacation because I'm starting a summer program at the college on June 24 and it doesn't end until sometime in late July. The good thing is that I will be going into freshman year with a total of 6 credits. That's especially good because, as some of you know, I plan on double majoring. And goodness knows that I don't want to stay in college any longer than I need to to get that diploma!

That's O.K. just don't get involved with the groups that aren't interested in furthering their education. If you're going for the double major you will certainly have your hands full. Good luck & keep the grades up.

                          Congratulations and HAPPY BIRTHDAY KCadet

Enjoy your time in college, and keep your focus on your future.

Speaking from experience, college is MUCH easier the first time around, rather than going back.

Again, Congratulations on the beginning of the rest of your life!

Congratulations! Stay focused on that education. And if you think getting up at 6:30 is bad or remembering a locker combination is tough, just wait & see how the rest of life is. You're just beginning! Good luck!
