OK...Here's the deal on women and male armpits:

I believe this was first reported in Discover Magazine (Feb 1996). In one typical experiment of this type women were asked to rate their reaction to the scent coming from sealed boxes with holes in them. The boxes all had t-shirts inside that had simply been slept in by different men.

The experimenters had already typed all the males by analyzing their perspiration and identified which men carried which type of

I've read before that a woman subconsciously uses smell to determine who she wants to mate with. If a man is genetically unsuited to her, he will smell bad to her, presumably no matter how clean he is or what he smells like.

actually i quit wearing colognes and after shaves a few years back. if you can't smell good after a good shower with soap and deodorant then NOTHING is going to help!!

and on the opposite end of the spectrum, nothing turns my stomach more that a women who "bathed" in perfume....especially if it's a crappy one!!

that goes for men and women -- the word here is "subtle". if i can smell you a mile before you get to me IT'S TOO MUCH!!!

My husband always smells good! He takes a shower right after work...but for the most part, even after work he smells good! He doesn't wear a lot of cologne, just enough.

And hopefully they will both shower once a day or so.

Actually, just being around someone who is wearing too much of any of this stuff sort of makes my stomach do flip flops. When I was a kid, I worked in a store, where the owner's wife must have just soaked herself in midnight in watts before coming to work every day.

She was a really nice lady, but lordy did she ever stink.

LMFAO Fastie.. yeah.. I hate the taste of cologne.. but I love the smell. My man, he wears Eternity and I have no idea what deoderant he uses, but honestly, I love to lay down with him. He wraps one arm around me and I suppose that would make my head/face area close to his armpit, but not actually "IN IT". I think he sprays his chest with something cause MAN.. his smell is seducing.

His armpits must not smell too bad cause my head never stinks from snuggling.

seriously.. a freshly showered male smells pretty nice depending on which soap is used... and guys.. don't over bleach your clothes, the smell of bleach on a man isn't attractive either... I love men's colognes, I could smell them all day.. especially when the guy puts on only enough to smell when you're up really really close to them.. oh... cologne doesn't taste good so don't spray it where you want the woman's mouth to go...

Personally, I like most 'musks' on women, which, IIRC, actually contain real 'animal' musk oils.... Go figure.

I've seen somewhere, a bottle of pheremones for sale. I don't know where they get it but it's supposed to make you irresitable to the opposite sex. Sells for about $60 per ounce.
