World Cup 2002

Are any of you watching the World Cup games? Its a football (note the prefix 'foot' in that word - that means you cant use your hands, and its real football, that means you cant wear motorcycle helmets and heavyweight ballistic armour to play it lol ) tournament in Japan, and the USA are doing very well indeed.

Is there much interest in it in the US?

Heck yes, but I missed the portugal game of course. Didn't think we had a chance. The last one I got a chance to watch was England and Argentina and that was a great game. Hope I can catch our next game which is Friday??? I beleive.

Nope, haven't been watching but I did find out that they telecast here on the east coast at 0400 - 0500. So, that explains why the Brazilian / Portugese community members are involved in fights so early in the morning!! ... They take the game too serious!

Funny story:

I work in Tijuana, err....I mean Southern California. The other night Mexico beats Ecuador in the world cup. Naturally, all of the illegal aliens, I mean migrant workers, are out in force-drunk (I mean real drunk...you have to see it to believe it!), some yelling and slobbering in Spanish from their apartments to two young ladies of the night (you know...whores) that are standing on a nearby street corner.

The scantily clad whores were whooping and hollering (this is going down at about 0200 hours). I approached within about 50 feet of these girls and saw some interesting buldges in their pockets...and it wasn't a cell phone. Plus they both had five-o'clock shadows, adam's apples...the works. Man...the miracle of alcohol and stupidity....a dangerous combination. Funny thing is that none of the drunkards was even slightly embarrassed that they were asking a pair of guys to take it off, even after I told them that they were yelling to men...

Still, I am always fascinated by a man that has 34DD's and looks like Pam Anderson from a mile away, but looks more like Tommy Lee when you get within a football field's length...yikes!
