Iowa----Public Safety WILL be Compromised

I was talking to an ISP Sgt. buddy the other night. He was telling me things are really hard right now, but they are doing what they can to make the best out of things.

We wil get by.

Things are hurting but since the furlough passed..............we aren't loosing any FTE's. Trying to replace someone 5 days out of 180 days is a whole lot better than trying to replace them full time.

ISP is in the same boat. Their Colonel went out and found a 4 million dollar grant which HALVED their deficit....................He seems to be a good man!!!!

I can't wait until Dec 31 2010.
