new high BAC

I got a new high BAC for a DUI last night. An 18 year old girl took out a stop sign directly in font of me. She ended up testing at .241.

Funny...I got a new high this week also. A 35 year old woman who was 4'11", 95 lbs., blew a .25 in the field and a .27/.27 in the station. Oh, and when I stopped her, it was still light outside (approximately 6 pm). She said she had consumed almost half a pint of vodka. ISSUES.

One of my partners picked one up out of the ditch, walking and not driving (well he wasn't really walking either) that was a .389

I think my personal best was .34 but I know guys that bagged higher ones. We averaged 15 DWIs a week so it wasn`t that hard. The funny thing was the guy didn`t seem that drunk. Others that blew .10-.15 would be falling all over themselves.

Highest I ever had was a .35 What was really impressive was that it was a woman I stopped at NOON!

My best has been a .34 and driving an MTA bus.

My best was .585 . The guy put his vehicle into the snowbank. He could communicate with us. A bit slurred, I might add. He could walk, although we did assist him to the patrol vehicle. He refused the legal blood draw. I did get him to sign a release for his medical records and obtained a copy of the medical blood results.

Highest driver I've seen or heard was a .396, 7th Offense OWI after a run in with a ditch. I've seen the paperwork (all 3 tests cuz the lab guy wouldn't believe the results) for a guy who tested .961 . By his own admission, he had been drunk EVERY day since he got back from Nam in 69. The doctor at the ER where was taken required him to be transported by AMBULANCE with a nurse riding along to the nearest hospital detox center. The guys who found him estimated him to be in the high .3s.

I've heard of numerous walking or suicidal people in the .4-.5 range. We Wisconsin folks can REALLY hold our beer!!!! As I'm sure Deputy Joe, Badgerland, or Kirch can attest!

I've had an underage possession at .382.

In GA, we get two breath samples and charge with the lower one. I've had single samples higher than this, but this was the highest that I have charges with for an actual DUI.
