As I read it the article makes it sound like a uniformed police officer got drunk, and entered the residence of an unassocaited person and passed out in her bed.

As the read the literal words of the article I read that some drunk entered the wrong apartment on is off hours and passed out on the bed, and oh, he also happened to be a police officer which takes the lead in the article.

Where does the media get these things? Are they simply going through the booking sheets looking for the suspect’s profession and employer and then making a story?
