1st Citizens Academy Class

WOW! Went to the 1st class last night. Very interesting! This class was about Crime Scene Investigations. Some of that stuff is pretty gross. We seen pics of a fatal accident. What a horrible scene. Next week is K9. Looking forward to that.

Anyone here ever attend a local CA?

not a regular citizen's academy I guess, but I went to a week-long course for high school students when I was in HS. That was what got me interested in law enforcement to begin with, but it's been a long time. Saw some nasty stuff then too, but have seen worse things since. It was held at the local police academy, and I remember getting strange looks from the new recruits when they'd go by on their morning runs.
