  • My nomination for dumbest criminal.

Today I had the pleasure of seeing this in court. It's one of those “you have to see it to believe it” type things.

It wasn't anything spectacular, like a big fight or scuffle, but rather the crime a specific person committed. I almost fell off my chair laughing.

The 19 year old suspect, a waiter at a popular restaurant, stole two credit cards from customers he was serving earlier this year. After a few days, he used one of them to purchase alcohol at a local bar. Once the victim noticed the unauthorized charges, he notified us and the officer was able to track down as the suspect. He was arrested and after being questioned, admitted to stealing and using the credit card. He wrote a statement apologizing to the victim and the court for his poor decision and promised not to do it again.

The magistrate decided on a $2500 bond since it was his first case and he showed remorse. He posted bond and was released a few hours later.

So you ask, what's so funny? Well, remember that second credit card he stole when he was a waiter? Yeah, he used that one to post bond.

Today he plead guilty to both offenses and at 19 years old, has to look forward to being a felon for the rest of his life.

I felt the need to share this because it was simply to damn hilarious not to.

LOL, stupid kids. I could only imagine. Also curious as to why the officer didn't take the other credit card the first time. We may never know.

I hate to say it. . . but. . .are f'ing kidding me?! Wow, this post made my day! I wonder what the judge was thinking?! I am sure it was along the lines of, "hmmm, I don't think this kid is going to make it past 21 at this rate. . . "

Too bad there are not laws for being a stupid criminal. . .because if there was, I'd convict him of 1st Degree Criminal Stupidity with life without parole. . .

After 32 + years of dealing with convicted thugs.....................does this surprise me-----------heck no.

The big problem is that he will now go into College (Penal Institution University )

The prison system will train him to be a better thug, instruct him in the finer points of the life of crime, and hone his larceny skills.

I have a feeling that you have not seen the last of this idiot...............At 19 with a felony record-----------------he will probably be waiting on tables the rest of his life................in between jail sentences.
I DON'T ALWAYS LIKE BEING A RETIRED POLICE OFFICER .......Oh who the hell am I kiddingI LOVE IT. Stay safe my friends

The one on parole where I work doesn't handle money. She hands the food out to you when you come through the drive-thru.

                    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh--------------------yep!

I don't like MickyD's food so I rarely go there..............the grandkid had a Bday party at the MickyD's playground this summer----------------lo and behold who was cooking the burgers................one of the -------Ahemmmmmmmmm--------------more famous "queen's" that used to walk our yard. Known HIV+--------very promiscuous-----etc.

I drank bottled pop from the coke machine at the shop and rob next door! And ate when I got home.

Thanks guys----------nice assist----------------however I was pretty careful as to what I wrote.

They get to handle food -----not money most of the time, especially with a theft record. Most of the con's I see at fast food are cooking. or waiting at tables at the local cafe. Its the ex Correctional Officers that I terminated that I find at the cash registers!
I usually find another place to eat when ever I see any of the above.
