  • Movie Mistakes

I'm betting a lot of you are like me in that you spot mistakes in movies....... windows that are broken in one scene and intact in the next. Guns that get loaded 3 times and aren't fired in between etc..........

If movie screw-ups are fun for you, then you'll probably like this Movie Mistakes

I thought I was picky.........some of these folks are really sharp (and harsh).

Look up your favorite movie........you'll never look at that movie the same way again (mine had 54 mistakes in it).

That is a great website -- it kinda makes you wonder if the editors aren't doing there job lol

Not for me. I actually have to tell my friend to stop picking apart the movie. It sucks and then once he starts, the movie is no longer enjoyable.

You mean like the metal dice in the Milennium Falcon's cockpit? In one cut, gone the next (two seconds later)! Or the Stormtrooper who bumps his head on the door frame on the Death Star? Or the laser gun that makes the "zap-zap" sound consistently ... except for when it sounds like an actual gun "boom-boom!"

I caught a 'blooper' in the classic 'Devil's Brigade' the other night. William Holden called a 'Major' 'Colonel', then a few scenes later, correctly called him 'Major'.

              Star Wars... aaauuuugh!!

The guns shouldn't be making any noise at all. The ships either! THERE IS NO AIR IN SPACE... THAT MEANS THERE IS NO SOUND!!!

              Talk about your bloopers! DUH!

MY favorite is the one, in an older movie, where a guy is supposed to be in a Greek play and is obviously fro New York. He yells, "Over Yownder!"

I'm talking about when they're inside the pressurized Death Star ... the "swing over the bottomless chasm" scene. Luke pulls the trigger, "zap-zap" ... Leia pulls the trigger, "BANG!"

One of my favorites in recent years-

In The Hunt For Red October, when in the helicopter enroute to rendezvous with the USS Dallas, during (a quick cut) and right after Alec Baldwin's speech to the pilot about using his reserve fuel, the crew chief points and yells something to the effect "I've got a sub-two miles!"

At those points, if you look closely, you can see the image of the cameraman in his visor-and not only that, it looks like he's standing in a parking lot or on the tarmac!

Next time you watch it, check it out...
People have more fun than anybody.

I started checking the site out last night, and went to one of my favorite movies, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". I had to close the site down. I love that movie and I don't want to spoil it the next time I see it by watching for all the things wrong with it. I'll leave it as is.

                          Here's another similar site: www.nitpickers.com

My favorite goof is the scene in "Glory" where all the people come out to cheer on the soldiers and a kid directly in front of the camera has his arms waving above him and you could see that he is wearing a digital watch. Oops...

You can actually see the casings ejecting from the pistol as well....they were "modified" Lugers I believe.....

I was watching the movie "Footloose" the other day. That part, where they are having the dance, and that puke and his friends show up to cause trouble: Wendell gets into a knock down, drag out fight with them, rolling in the dust and the dirt, getting his tux all filthy. But after the fight was over, his tux had no dirt on it.
