I am so #%*@ing sick and tired of that #@*$&ing Bowflex commercial!!! It's EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME.

I try to change channels and it's on the channel I change too.

In the name of all things holy, please, PLEASE give us a break from that damn commercial.

according to the target demographic of late night infomercials i would have to say niteshift is: overweight, unemployed, hopelessly single, horny, in debt, and in need of expensive but crappy cooking appliances.

i do watch the infomercials all nite, i must say. i love the fake-ness of them... i'm addicted.

i love to do an imitation at work of one of the large-breasted girls on the Extenz infomercial (the one with glasses and a lisp). we laugh over it til we're in pain.

and you know how they keep saying "down there"? someone told me they are not allowed to say pen** unless its in medical context. i never heard of that rule.

also, a guy at work said he ordered the stuff...

I don;t even watch local channels..........they're all on FX, History Channel, Discovery, stuff like that.

They must be spending a fortune on their advertising. I've never seen that many commercials for any company.

That's why I bought a TiVo unit a little over a year ago. In addition to being able to pause and even rewind LIVE television broadcasts, it will also record just like any VCR.

The BEST part about it, though, is the ability to fast forward through any part of the program, including commercials. If you have previously recorded a program, or have delayed watching the start of it for a sufficient amount of time, it's possible to fast forward through every commercial on a program. For a one-hour program I generally set the unit on the proper channel, and wait about 15-20 minutes before watching the program.

If you find yourself bored for that 15-20 minutes, it's even possible to watch a previously recorded program while the unit records something that is currently playing.

niteshift, i agree... they play that GD commercial incessantly here in tampa and theres no effing way that the dude in the commercial got built like that just from using the machine 20mins a day hell, i do more exercise than that a day, and i still cant lose weight!

I watch the same channels but don't see Bow Flex as much as those stupid Mitsubishi car ads, and "Steven's" dumb Dell computer ads.

Finally, someone else feels my pain! I really hate that commercial, and the music bugs me more than anything else. That is possibly the longest running commercial ever. I remember hating it last year too! Is that the only commercial Bow-Flex has out there?!

The commercials that I can't stand are any with Carrotbrain or whatever his name is. He's not only ugly, he's annoying and the opposite of funny. Where's a six-foot rabbit when you need one?

The one I hate was for "Nads", the hair remover commercial. I thoght that, if I saw the inventors face or heard her nasally voice saying, "From our home to yours" ONE MORE TIME, I was going to throw a shoe at the TV. My husband used to laugh at me when he would hear me groan "ACK! SHE"S BACK! AARRGGHHHHH!"
