I start my Labor Day weekend TODAY. I'm going camping for a couple days and just hanging out at the house the rest of the time.

No real plans and honestly haven't given it much thought. School's been on my mind and trying to get the kids ready to go back. I highly doubt I'll do anything. Maybe bbq and that's it.Comment

I'm on call that weekend, which means any time I get out of it, the first 8 hours are straight time because of the holiday. Tell me again that Investigations is a promotion

Ahhh ... the joys of public safety ... as the name implies (Labor Day), I'll be working and making sure everyone ELSE has an enjoyable holiday ...I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather ... not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car.Comment

I am taking sunday night the 1st off so I will have a three day weekend and will enjoy a nice weekend of camping with my whole family. All five kids and the dog LOL. I am going down to get the spot wednesday morning. (have to go early) and will have the spot for the entire weekend. I will be back to work monday night so I will still get my triple pay and all that good stuff. LOL

Going to the mountains.... guess I better start burning some new CDs for the ride...(3+ hours, even with the way I drive) I can't wait !!! I might even take Friday off and leave early... yeah, that's a good idea.... now, if I could get triple pay, I'd be staying home and working....
