    O'siyo,

    I WAS WOBBED!

I just pulled down that link and the newspaper articles had been updated, doing away with that story. Oh well.

Anyway, the Hopi nation has regained 144,000 acres of their traditional homelands by just buying it back. The land holds many, many sites that the people were required to take care, but it was difficult because so much land had been taken for non-Hopi ranchland.

Overall, in general, many nations leadership have begun to follow the advise of the Elders and using their education to find legal ways to regain land.

Some days are good to die, other days its good to close escrow, ennit?

I am sorry Jimmy, I can't see it in the headlines. Maybe I am getting too old.

    O'siyo,

Good news today! I have posted the following link which reports the Hopi nation has purchased another 144,000 acres of land, thus regaining land they have always been responsible for.

Once on the page, scroll down to headlines.
