  • Children taught to distrust

This is what happens when children are brought up to distrust authority.
    http://www.news.com.au/common/story_...55E401,00.html

Those officers at the scene are only there to take the children into care.

It is a sad situation. I hope it is resolved soon and without harm to anybody.

Apparently one of them surrendered. A 19 year old sister, who moved out some time ago was turned down from joining the military...she stress fractures due to malnutrition. Some of the kids' bones are turning to dust.

There was a line in the paper this morning that really got me. It was from a militia member out there...

Crap. I couldn't find it, but he was ranting about the Deputies not having the Right to make any arrests and had no business involved in that situation.

The deputies are not there to arrest the children, they are there to take them into protective custody. There is a difference. From what I have read, the children are malnourished, probably haven't been to school for a long time, and don't socialise. How screwed up are those kids.

Yeah...I know that, you know that and most of America knows that. The militia members seems to have their minds made up otherwise. That's the mode of thinking embedded in the kids' minds.

Hopefully, this won't turn into another Ruby Ridge incident. That's all Militia groups and everybody else needs. The 19 year old ran away after a confrontation with the mother. A second child, 15 or 16 was wandering around near a neighbor's and was turned into police for protective custody. What an awful situation.

I hope your are right. The main focus is to get the kids to safety and ensure that no one is hurt.

Good news, the kids gave up without being hurt or hurting anybody. Apparently, the house was in squaller. Mice were so numerous that they would run over the children when they were asleep. Lets hope that they are taken good care of.
