You have not told us how you are doing since your accident and going back to work. You be CAREFUL out there. Park your bike on the sidewalk. And wear your safety belt! lol When I was in my citizens academy class, one woman actually asked if we could do a ride-a-long with a motorcycle cop. We all died laughing!
All of you guys and gals better watch out for your own safety or your gonna have me to deal with.

Actually I'm doing all right. I lost some mobility in my neck and my back but I can still ride. I have to shift more of my upper body to look left instead of just snapping my head but not enough to be a problem. Most of the pain and direction of mobility lose is to the back and, well, I just don't have a lot of need to be doing bridges or such things these days so I'll get by. The back is a little stiffer at the end of the day than it used to be too.

The bigger problem was my wife's illness and that too is getting better all the time. She went back to work last week. It was a little sooner than we wanted but she was going to lose her position if she didn't. I honestly thought she was just going to quit and stay home but she says she doesn't want to yet. She is getting some color back in her face and her hair is growing out again. Starting to look like the old her again. Starting to act like the old her again a little too and yes, that is a good thing. Over all, I can't complain. Beats the heck out of the two weeks I spent trying to figure out how I was going to survive as the gimping widower.

You sound like my husband. He had surgery to repair 2 ruptured discs. The pain is much much better, almost none at all. But, at the end of the day, he's pretty sore from sitting in the car all day.
I'm so sorry to hear you wife was sick. What was wrong, if you don't mind me asking?
I have been helping a friend all week that has the flu. She has 3 little ones so I go over there to help her several hours a day.
Glad to hear you are doing ok, DR!

Wasn't aware of the wife's trouble. Glad you are both doing okay. Will keep you in our prayers as y'all continue to recover.
