    It's 9-11

    My heartfelt thanks go out to all who serve to protect us day in and day out. Cops, Feds, firefighters, paramedics. All. Many of your brethren lost their lives 7 years ago today, and while it's too painful to think about daily, it's fitting that we set aside a day each year to keep them, and all of you, in our hearts and prayers.

    Thanks for keeping us safe.

    If I tell you what I know, I'd have to kill you. Fortunately, I don't know much.

        It was a humbling experience to serve folks like you who appreciated my efforts. And like you, I salute those still on the job.

                      I can't even watch the news coverage of the memorials without shedding a tear, much less that video. It was a rather solemn day at the office for me.
