My daughter, Diana, is named after the Princess. It broke her heart when she heard the tragic news of Princess Diana's death. The Princess touched more lives than anyone will ever be able to comprehend.

The sorry fact is that she might have survived had she been wearing a seatbelt.

Diana was my favourite Royal. She was a truly beautiful lady, inside and out.

I like Princes William and Harry. The rest I don't care for at all.

          OK
I have to ask this. Many people believe there was a conspiracy which resulted in her death. Mohammed Al-Fayed (father of Dodi) strongly believes that she was planning to marry his son and that the Royal Family were involved in their deaths. He further belives that the CIA are witholding evidence.
What do you as cross members of the American Public believe. I have my own opinions on the matter which I believe is a lot more involved than it appears on the surface!

I have to say that I also believe it is a lot more involved than it appears on the surface.

Suffice it to say that everything I have read and heard about the subject, has not served to increase my faith in the Royal Family.

I had a question about her not wearing her seatbelt. She was known to and she had such great love for William and Harry. Kinda made me wonder why it wasn't on.

Mack hit the nail on the head. The truth of the matter is that the person who should have been wearing the seatbelt (i.e Diana) wasn't. The person who shouldn't have been wearing a seatbelt (The bodyguard) was.
The reality of how it works however is this: Royalty protection officers (The Police)are not directly employed by the Principals (The Royal Family) If a Protection Officer saw Diana was not wearing her belt he would tactfully suggest "I think you've forgotton something ma'am".
On the other hand a Privately employed bodyguard such as on this occasion probably would not suggest to the Principal who pays his wages, anything that may jeapordise his future employment.
                Catch 22!

Well, at least he'd get a nice severance package from his dead employer...

I'm surprised that Americans are really that interested in this. As for myself, I figure she's dead. Life goes on. I don't trouble myself with all the conspiracy theories.

Going from everything I read, and heard about what had happened I too believe there was a conspiracy. However, instead of dwelling on "what possibly happened" I try to think about all the good she did for people and those beautiful boys. Even IF there was a conspiracy I wish it to stay covered up for the boys sakes. For if the Royal family POSSIBLY had a hand in it - what mind game does that play on the boys? How do they deal with that? I agree with copper2be in a way. She is unfortunatly gone, nothing will bring her back. And for the sanity of the boys, let her rest in peace. If someone would, or should try to bring out the real truths, let it be upon the wishes of her sons and other imediate family members. That is just my feelings on it.
