  • Prayers please...

    Hi Everyone,

I could use some power of positive thought and prayers. My great uncle went through some surgery today to place three stints in his heart. I am not sure how it went. He has had numerous other issues, strokes, all kinds of stuff - he was once in a coma for several weeks, during which time he believed he was visited by three important influences throughout his life. First, he was visited by his childhood dog. The second one to visit him was my grandfather, his brother... And finally, he said he was visited by Jesus.

This man has been through many medical issues and come back in ways that no one thought he would. He is the closest thing I have to a grandpa, since both of mine passed away. He reminds me so much of my gramps - I am worried about him, and I would just appreciate any prayers you can send his way, if you think about it...

    thanks all.

      Prayers for grandpa
This profession is not for people looking for positive reinforcement from the public. Very often it can be a thankless job and you can't desire accolades, because those are not usually forthcoming. Just do your job to the best of your ability and live with the decisions you've made.

                In my thoughts
It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

Prayers on the way. I understand what it's like to have a loved one go through so many trials. My mom was basically in the same boat in '04. It is very scary. Many prayers sent your way both for great uncle and the family and friends.

God bless your uncle and your family, that you all may get through these trials and tribulations. May God be with you and your family, everyday, through thick and thin and through the perilous waters. God Bless and Amen. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Trust is the Lord. God Bless.
