You can easily GOOGLE the radio frequencies for any law enforcement agency in the world. Try it, you'll like it. No need to bother your local agency.

        Look through this:

          Radio Frequencies

They used to sell a book at Radio Shack that had every FCC licensed 'public sector' frequency listed. This included public utilities, railroads, prisons, police, fire, EMS, water & sewer, airports, etc., etc.

Back when I had a scanner - and actually listened to it - it came in handy for being able to find out which frequency went to which department.

In recent years, however, so many agencies went to a "trunked" system on the "UHF High" band. That made listening to them much more difficult. Most places now have their signals encrypted so you can't receive them anyway; not to mention the number of calls that go through MDT rather than over the air.

That being said, go to Google and knock yourself out!

The comments above reflect my personal opinion as a private citizen, ordinary motorist and all-around good guy.
