  • Emailing agency while they wait for medical results?

    Greetings All,

Firstly, to all sworn personnel: Thank you for your insights and advice in this forum. Your perspectives have been instrumental in my staying calm and collected during the hiring process I'm currently in. Anyway,
I'm at the tail end of (*hopefully*) getting hired. All that's left is for my personal physician to provide medical clearance forms to the agency-assigned one. Unfortunately the administrative process is being slower than molasses. En route for sure, but definitely taking longer than expected and I know the agency has been pressing the physician for my paperwork.

    So my question is:

Would it be out of line to send a professional yet apologetic email to the Captain assigned to my profile? Or is this one of those "this ain't his first hiring rodeo" things and I should just stay out of it? I'm open either way.

Any input is appreciated and much obliged.

Leave it alone. They will call you if they need to.
