I'm currently enrolled in a 4 year college looking to become a police officer after graduation. The only problem is I am Hard of Hearing and where I am from (Pennsylvania) doesn't allow police officers with hearing aids. I don't know what to do. Any adivce would be appreciated.

Are you simply assuming that your hearing loss is an automatic DQ? Here's my point. Yes, it could be, but I really think you should do some research with individual agencies to see what their requirements are. Hearing devices are far more advanced and much less obvious than they were, even 10 years ago.Check around, do a little research. Keep in mind too, that there are quite a few unsworn jobs with LE agencies. -
