South Carolina?

Am I missing something here, is the academy for these departments only 10 weeks? Where's the rest?

I was always told to stay away from the "deep south" states as the training is usually crappy, but I wouldn't consider SC to be that deep at all. Any input on this?

Yes That I how It is, I just got hired at a SO in South Carolina. This is how my training will be. 1 month of in house training, 2 months of FTO or as needed. 6 month of by my self under "under close watch" and then off to the Aca. For 2 months. My dept told me that I will certified with 95% of what the state requires before I will go to the Academy. I don
