Well today i found out that i got accepted to take test for the next town over that i live in.
The good news is that ,my life long dream ever since i was a little kid was to become a police officer and finally here is my first chance. This town that i send my resume to and got accepted is a great town with great pay and great group of officers so i really want to get it.
My problem is that i know i will have no problem passing all the tests other then the written because i am just a bad tester but i will give it my best and go in with a positive attitude giving 110%. Is there any tips,help or suggestions that you guys could give me to help me out. ANY HELP I REALLY APPRECIATE IT. Thanks guys and girls.

The department you're testing with should have a study guide for the test. Call them.

Go to the local book store and buy the police study guide books. I bought three and studied them alot. It helped me improve my score. Not all agencies give study guides. I tested with over 20 different agencies and only 2 actually gave me a study guide. I HIGHLY suggest going and buying some and STUDY STUDY STUDY!

There is no such thing as 110%. There is only 100%.

+1 on going to check out some books at the book store. Also if you haven't already, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Apply everywhere you can, and take the tests and go through the process. I'm not sure how standarized your tests are, but I took the CA POST test several times greatly improving my score each time.

These test are not based on LE knowledge at all (usually). Just reading, memorization, math and grammar.
