Follow up letter after oral board?

Sorry for the rash of questions lately.

Here is the question of the day.
In my current career field it is good practice to send a follow up letter after an interview. Should i do the same following my oral boards? From what i have read it sounds like an interview but again maybe not.

It might be an acceptable practice in private industry, but I wouldn't recommend it in a Law Enforcement hiring process.

I agree with Phillip. It is a nice gesture but it makes you look like an impatient butt kisser.

This has been discussed before. It will simply be thrown in the trash. It means nothing and has no effect on the hiring process.
