Is an Arkansas Certified Officer accepted in other states??

I'm an Arkansas Certified Officer w/ several yrs. of experience. Does Texas, Florida etc. accept the Arkansas Commission on LE standards certification?

You'll need to check with each state. They all have different rules on lateral transfers.

Lateral transfer is possible in AL. You would need to go through the 80-Hour Refresher Course.

I'm almost sure you can go through an abbreviated academy/course in FL as well, but don't quote me.

Yes for Texas, but you have to take the Texas Supplemental Peace Officer Course #1018. You can search it on tcleose.state.tx.us
