Application to another agency question

Hi,

Doing my NV State Trooper background paperwork. It asks if I've applied to any other agencies. I registered on the Las Vegas Metro PD website to test, but it wasn't an actual application (they asked for my address, phone, employment history, etc). I never tested even though I was invited. Does this constitute an application? Better to put it on there and be safe rather than sorry?

The real question is why did you not test for LV metro when it came up????

Fiancee was out of town, had to take our 7 year old to school and back and had my day job. LVMPD testing is pretty extensive. Troopers had theirs on a Sat

LVMPD just always seemed like a cool gig. They sent tons of information when I was in the academy to try and get us to come out and Im from PA. Just a lil to far for me.

I will probably apply the next time around if I'm not picked up by State Troopers. They're a good bunch of men and women.

Be on the safe side and list it.

I wouldn't list it. You didn't apply--you simply let them know you were interested in the job.
