  • Took a long time to pay off tickets - bad?

I passed the written, got a 90, and scheduled my PAT for 8.18 for Rochester PD. I have 11 tickets in total, listed below - the tickets themselves don't appear to be too serious, but when I got them, I was (genuinely) broke and it took me a looong time to pay most of them off...is this going to look very badly for me?

It all depends, however I will say that I have a friend who had difficulty in the hiring process due to having several recent tickets. You have to admit, that it does not look good.

Short answer: Yes. With many departments, your driver history would be evidence of a substantial pattern of disrespect/disregard for the law. None of the violations you listed, taken by themself , or even a couple of them, would be a problem. You compiled quite a record though. Most jurisdictions will allow a violator to enter a payment plan with the court. Apparently this option was either not offered to you, or you simply did not take advantage of it. Your Driver History is very likely to be a problem for you in your current application. My only suggestion is that you take full responsibility for your record. It's possible, down the line, and with a good Driver History, that you'd be a viable candidate. For the immediate future, you're probably looking at some problems.
