  • hiring and drugs

back in high school i had a friend who used to sell marijuana not significan enough but then sold a dime or two of crystal.

i wasn't in any need of money, but i went halves with him and bought 100 of crystal i never sold any of the amount, but rather gave it back to him or a ex-coworker

i understand drugs is a big deal in hiring, but i've never done drugs, but i'm afraid that my bad decision may be rule for disqualification? any idea, advice, etc??

You'd be wasting your time, and that of the department.

I'm not going to say no one will hire you, but you're gonna have a real tough time finding a place that will hire you.

There are tons of jobs like:.....
Custodial engineer, sanitation engineer, local publication transportation and delivery specialist, and you stated you have experience already so, unlicensed pharmacist and distribution specialist.
It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

Actually Frank, you pretty much ruled yourself out, when you decided to go down that path. I do hope you'll indeed learn from this mistake.

Get a college degree. Then go into the military for more than just the regular four. Then be a dispatcher for a longtime. Then work corrections for a long time. Then try putting in your application.

                      Nice minimalizing of your actions.

Go to college, your chances in LE are slim to none.

I don't agree with your opinion, but I respect its straightforwardness in terms of wrongness.
